1 Hardman Square is a proposed skyscraper in the Spinningfields district of Manchester, England. The current designs are for a 165-metre (541 ft) building with 600,000 square feet (56,000 m) of floor space. There have been two other designs for the building with the height increasing each time it is redesigned. The building will be the focal point of the new Spinningfields area of Manchester which is a mixed-use office and retail development. The proposed usage of the building will be hotel and office and is expected to begin construction in summer 2009 if approved.
